Late last year we discussed the worsening neuropathy in my feet. The numbness is now 95% gone. I completed 15 treatments with an occupational therapist, Brett Duffey at Complete Rehab. The numbness in my feet had gotten progressively worse over the years. I was clomping around and really felt off balance most of the time. It was so bad that I was having difficulty feeling the clutch and gas pedals in my 1968 Mustang when I drove it. My primary symptom was numbness, but occasionally the bottoms of my feet would burn at night. I never had any pain associated with my neuropathy. Today I feel so much more stable on my feet– so much so that I just booked a 7-day backpacking trip in Yellowstone’s wilderness. I also watched other patients get better, too. In the beginning, I was skeptical that infrared light & ultrasound would fix my problem. Sounded like witchcraft to my wife and me. But during my second week, I was sitting next to a woman, and she told me she had forgotten to take her prescription pain medication because her feet didn’t hurt anymore. Her story was a common one, and it was these stories that kept me coming back until I finally started to see noticeable improvement in my own feet. Most people at Complete Rehab were just like me — they had seen doctors, neurologists and podiatrists, and no one could help them. I’m done with my treatments, and I would not hesitate to recommend Brett and Complete Rehab to anyone.- Robert L.
While having severe pain and burning in my feet and toes, especially in my right foot and toes, I decided to go see Brett to see if he could help me. I could not stand bed sheets to touch my feet and toes, or to wear shoes at times. I was skeptical, but I decided I had nothing to lose. Although I have been diagnosed with neuropathy, I had seen several specialists, and they decided neuropathy was the primary issue. After several treatment visits to Brett, Brett noticed something that did not look normal going on in my right foot at one of my visits. Although this had been going on for close to two years, a scan was done on my right leg. I had an arterial blockage in my right thigh and was told I could have eventually lost my right leg. I am so glad I did not change my mind about going to see Brett. His keen observation possibly helped save my right leg, and possibly my life. Thank you, Brett!!!- Rick P.
Brett is without a doubt the best PT I have ever been to. I highly recommend his facility.- T. Minnis
Explained what to expect, why he was doing each step.- Kathryn P.
My life had been profoundly affected by the constant pain and numbness in my feet and legs caused by neuropathy. Also, my balance had declined, and I had to walk with a cane. On my first visit, Brett asked what my goal was; without hesitation, I said it was to regain my life back. After a series of treatments, I am no longer using a cane and ALL of my symptoms have significantly improved. Being a patient at Complete Rehab has truly been a blessing. Brett and his staff are very professional, and I highly recommend their services to anyone suffering with neuropathy.- G. Nelson
Complete Rehab has been a godsend for me. I have been dealing with bilateral neuropathy in my feet and lower back pain for many years. Since coming to receive treatment from Brett and his staff, I am greatly improved in both areas. Why suffer when there is help available?- L. Nichols
